The first exhibition of 2025 was at Ski Kunstforening. Ski is a small city 20 km east of Oslo. I´ve exhibited there once before in 2007, then the venue was located in the centre, but now it is in Kråkstad, a small village some kilometers outside. I decided to title the exhibition Short Stories as it contains paintings with their own different stories as opposed to longer series or works that deal with the same issues.

The gallery was on the second floor, so I had to carry a bit. The installing went smoothly though I had to use the gallerie's installing system with wires which always means a little more work than just hanging them on screws directly in the wall. I had made a plan in advance, but I had to adjust it as a few of the walls in the drawing weren't usable.
The gallery had made excellent preparations with posters and information. To attract the public, they also had a café and a children's workshop.
At the opening was musical entertainment by Anders Waltersdorph Hjemmen og Morten Koppang, who played soft and delightful jazz.

Head of the art association, Marika Lejon, held an artist talk with me with thoughtful and interesting questions.
I enjoyed the opening with a small but interested crowd and the flowers I received. Linda Cecilie Fevåg of AKFO, the central organisation for art associations in the local county, was also attending. Later during the week, I got the chance to present the exhibition to the board.

Before we left, we had a coffee in the café. I was accompanied by three friends, including Torgeir Husevaag, who gave us a lift in his car.

Back in Oslo, I celebrated with a nice dinner and a beer, sitting outside for the first time this year.
The documentation turned out surprisingly well. I only used the natural light from the windows.
