Enter Art Fair Copenhagen

In August this year, Galleri Ramfjord participated in Enter Art Fair in Copenhagen and decided to include my works in their booth. This was very exciting for me, as it was the first major art fair I had been part of. After some discussions, they decided to bring five of my recent Rubber Hose Drawings and the Jörmungandr piece. In the end, they displayed the large #599 Fungal, while keeping the other works in the back room. They also printed a folder for the occasion. The other artists represented in the booth were Mark Tennant, Geir Yttervik, Ingebjørg Støyva, Valeria Vaccaro and André Lundquist.

I travelled to Copenhagen to visit the fair and received a VIP pass from Elisabeth at the gallery. It was a very interesting experience, with so many excellent galleries and artists exhibiting.

I had a great weekend in the Danish capital. I stayed at a hub hotel, visited lots of exhibitions and enjoyed plenty of good food. I also went to Christiania, as I had never been there before. It felt a bit touristy and commercialised, in my opinion. I particularly enjoyed the relaxed smoking policies in some of the bars.

I travelled with the new train company Snälltåget, which was inexpensive, but the restaurant car was missing on the journey down. On the way back, we had to take a bus from Sarpsborg. That wasn't their fault, I suppose, but we ended up waiting almost two hours for the replacement bus to arrive.
