Jörmungandr | Galleri Ramfjord

After Buer Gallery closed its doors, I´ve been looking for a new gallery in Oslo to represent my art, and I was very happy when Galleri Ramfjord reached out to me at the end of 2025. The gallery was started in 1998 by Elisabeth Ramfjord and shows both Norwegian and international artists. Elisabeth and her husband Anders came for a studio visit, and after that, we decided to start working together. The first thing that happened during the holidays was that they picked up three works to place in their showroom.
In January, they have their annual auction exhibition, and they asked if I wanted to take part, and I accepted. It is a salon-style exhibition, in which I participated with five works and sold three of them.
Then I suddenly got the opportunity to make a solo exhibition with the gallery already in February. It was very short notice, but since I have plenty of works in storage, I accepted. Elisabeth skimmed through my website and suggested which works we should transport to the gallery. One of them was #472 Jörmungandr, and I decided to name the exhibition after it. She then curated the show and installed it together with the crew at the gallery. This was a new and exciting experience for me. I was a bit nervous when I went to the gallery the day before the opening. But it looked great, and it was very interesting to see someone else's eyes on my work!
The opening was super fun with quite a few friends showing up. One of my oldest and dearest ones, Patrik Gustavsson, came all the way from Stockholm and stayed with me for some days. Afterwards, a group of us went out for lunch and drinks, then had more drinks and finally dinner. A fantastic day and evening!
Here's the documentation.
There was a variety of older works, some up to ten years old, and more recent and even brand new.
