#586 Language Model

About
The image depicts an imagined conversation in which language is speaking to itself. In a sense, it illustrates how language models operate: large datasets that encapsulate language as a whole, processing it recursively, structuring and restructuring it in an ongoing loop.
Language is inscribed in life itself. At its core, language can be understood as the division of raw, unmediated matter, making it possible to organize and stabilize it in ways that support the transformation and persistence of structure. Consciousness arises when a split is introduced into this process. With the emergence of such a division—or a point of view—something is simultaneously concealed and rendered inaccessible.
This point, a kind of blind spot within language, forms the basis of the self-aware subject: an entity capable of asking questions and making independent choices. In this sense, the subject can be described as language speaking to itself.Res Ipsa
Res Ipsa is a compilation of works made by an act shaping the filler once it is prepared inside the frame. The works thus function as a recording device and give a statement of the event taking place while the filler was still wet.
Res Ipsa is Latin for "the thing itself" and is part of the juridical term "Res ipsa loquitur" (the thing speaks for itself), used when an injury or accident in itself clearly shows who is responsible, such as an instrument left inside a body after surgery.
